Welcome to the Resource Library

The Resource Library is an extensive collection of introductions to readings and associated questions designed to help spur reflection on civic activity. Readings are the core of civic reflection, and our library can help you locate good readings for your group. Here you will find:

  • Basic questions about associating, giving, serving and leading.
  • Suggested readings that explore these questions.
  • Online links to readings, where available.
  • Discussion summaries by people who have used these readings.

How do I search the Library? There are two ways:

Come in and browse by clicking on Guided Search. Consider possible themes, questions and texts for civic reflection. Click on a suggested reading to learn more.

Or

Search by title, author, keyword or question by clicking on Advanced Search. Looking for something in particular? Try here.

How is the Civic Reflection Resource Library organized?

The Library has four major sections: Associating, Giving, Serving, Leading.

Each section offers themes, questions and suggested readings with brief introductions, citations and weblinks where available.

This Resource Library is a growing collection of text introductions. Suggest a Reading for our shelves!
